Prof. Zhuo Wang from Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited our lab at the Energy College Campus on Nov. 2, 2021. Prof. Wang is renowned for his automated and intelligent technology for agricultural machinery. He delivered a comprehensive talk entitled “Analysis on the Development Trend of Laboratory Automation”, during which he reviewed the development and application of laboratory automation as well as his unique foresight. In addition, Prof. Wang shared a recent work regarding the latest advance of laboratory automation that merges experiments, theoretical calculations, and automation. The innovative work and thought he presented are impressive and open up board discussion about implementing automation in chemistry labs.
