Prof. Zhifeng Wang at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, CAS, visited us on May 11^th. Prof. Wang now serves as the director of the Solar Thermal Energy Laboratory. His seminar was titled “The fourth-generation techniques for collecting/heat exchange with high reliability in solar thermal power plants”. We learned basic techniques engaged in solar thermal power generation engineering and the state-of-the-art plants in operation were introduced.
